if you are interested to study at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg,
there is some information here: http://www.hfbk-hamburg.de

unfortunately there is still no english language version online.
It is possible to take guest semesters or full study in media, fine arts, industrial design and others.

The HfbK is special for the possibilities it offers to develop new approaches, technologies and art forms rather than following a standard learning scheme. It thus leads to a manifold of capabilities and professions.

you could check for the laboratories overview page
for a brief (informal) overview of the department of digital systems see http://medien.hfbk.net

Upcoming is also the Laboratory for Acoustics and Time Image,
which focusses on artistic research in time based media and which is a Lab of the Lehr- und Forschungsbereich digitale Systeme.

Generally this institution is very open to guests and foreign students.

for questions, especially if you are interested in film and acoustics,
mail me informally [jrh] or contact the international office
