it is not easy to get a G5 booted with a current linux version.

temporary solution...

we got the partition table written correctly from gentoo booted from cd.
the cooling system goes up to maximum noise, but if it is only for this there is no problem.

this was a reasonable preparation and we'll try to build a kernel later
