moving all you did not want but was installed nevertheless
There will be stuff like internet exploder which you might not want on your hard disk. Just delete stuff like this.
Make sure to keep things like "Disk First Aid" and the rest in that folder, you might need them somewhen...
All the stuff in the system folder can be enabled/disabled with the 'extensions' control panel.
the 'memory' control panel will let you decide if, and how much virtual memory you want. if your mac has enough memory to do what you want, turn it off. it is DEAD slow being used.
