Christopher Alexander
The Viennese-Born architect and theoretician Christopher Alexander initiated a new approach to architectural thinking motivated by the need to enable the participation of actual "users" of buildings, in the design process and to account for solutions resulting by a long cultural process of adaptation to the environment.
